– Learn to Meditate

This feature class with Kelsang Lekchog covers a wide range of engaging topics. Drop in whenever you can as each class is self-contained.

The evening  includes 2 guided meditations and a practical teaching on how to apply the ancient wisdom of Buddha’s teachings to busy modern life. Not to be missed!

The classes conclude with the opportunity to discuss the class with the teacher and/or other members of the class.

We often have good intentions of what we want for our year but we struggle to maintain and substantiate change. All too often we find ourself returning to old habits and ways of thinking that continually cause us problems and suffering for ourself and others. We are left feeling deflated and wait for another year….Make this one different. Believe you can and are a meditator. Believe you can learn to control your mind and stay calm and positive no matter what comes at you this year.

During this series of classes you will experience the benefits of Meditation and learn how to establish a regular meditation practice that will empower your life. This is a practical based course where practices and methods will be explained enabling you to establish the internal tools to maintain a Meditation practice throughout the year ahead.

Kelsang Lekchog is the Resident Teacher here at KMC Sheffield. Her warmth and kindness show in her teachings , and she is able to explain clearly Buddha’s profound teachings in a way that is suitable for everyone. She has studied, practiced & taught Kadampa Buddhism for almost 20 years. Her having studied extensively on the Special Teacher Training Programme for many years make her very qualified.
