About Volunteering
At a Kadampa Centre you can’t help but marvel at how smoothly and efficiently it is run by dedicated teams of kind-hearted people. One of the incredible aspects of Geshe-la’s vision for flourishing modern Kadampa Buddhism is how everyone joins in to volunteer and support our centres.
Why volunteer?
Volunteering is an integral and extremely rewarding part of spiritual practice. You get the opportunity to engage in meaningful, joyful work together with others. Through giving your time freely and cherishing those who will attend classes and events at the centre, you can experience directly how this not only benefits others but makes you feel happy and fulfilled. All levels of volunteer experience are welcome! We have something for everyone.

Starting to Meditate

What is Meditation?
Many of us lead very busy lives, and finding the space to turn inwards and meditate each day can be a struggle in itself. But meditation allows us to recover our strength, collect our thoughts and to see things in perspective. With a peaceful mind, we are then far more likely to find solutions to our problems and respond constructively without loss of heart.
