Detox your Mind meditation workshop-March 28th (optional-retreat)


March 28th – 29th Detox your Mind meditation workshop followed by retreat

We all carry a weight of negativity in our minds. This causes us to get stuck in negative habits of thinking that are repetitive and destructive, it can also leave us feeling guilty and impossible to change. On this half day workshop we will discover what the causes of our negativity are, learn powerful Buddhist meditation practices that can free us of our negative burden, bad feelings or distractions. We can learn how to detox our mind of all its negativity so that we become happier, lighter and experience freedom.

This workshop is followed by 6 sesions of Vajrasattva purification retreat. On the Saturday and Sunday. Vajrasattva is the Buddha of purification and enaging in this practice is a powerful method to make our pure and finally remove all negativity from our mind

This course will include two sessions – with guided meditations and teachings in both. Light refreshments £15
The workshop will be followed by 6 sessions of retreat on the Saturday and Sunday where we can deepen our understanding and experience of karma and purification.In particular we will be gaining practical experience of Vajrasattva meditation, the Buddha of purification, through which we can purify and release our mind from all its negativity. Through this practice we will naturally become happier, our mind more flexible, and that our meditation practice in general will become more effective.

On this day retreat we will also discover what causes our negativity, our negative karma, and how to avoid creating negativity through controlling our mind.  The retreat will include traditional Kadampa Buddhist prayers and meditation.
