Emptiness in Daily Life – day course with Gen Jigme 9th May

10am – 3:30pm includes Vegan Lunch

£20.00

Buddha said “All Phenomena are like Dreams”

Emptiness is the way things really exist.
Its the way things exist as opposed the way they appear.. It is not nothingness.

Just by gaining a small understanding of this we can use this in our daily life in all our acivities to help us overcome our real problems, which are our unpleasant feelings. If we begin to understand that everything that appears to us is illusory, just like things in a dream we will live our life without grasping. We will be able to treat everything lightly with flexibility of mind and respond to every situatation in a constructive way. It will give us real freedom and peace of mind.

Gen Kelsang Jigme the Resident Teacher of KMC Liverpool is the visiting Teacher who will teach this day course.

Ordained as a monk in 1997 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, Gen Jigme has studied, practised and taught Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang’s guidance in major Kadampa Centres throughout the UK for many years. He shows a humble, kind example as a Buddhist Monk and his clear explanations of Buddha’s teachings give us the confidence to practise them in our daily life.
