Freedom from painful feelings: how to dissolve painful emotions with wisdom with Guest teacher Gen Kelsang Varahi
Painful emotions such as stress, anxiety, depression, and loneliness can weigh us down, preventing us from fully enjoying life. During this day retreat Gen Varahi will guide us in exploring Buddha’s wisdom to understand, reduce, and ultimately let go of negative emotions that cause us suffering.
Through Buddhist meditation we will:
- Investigate and analyze painful feelings.
- Begin to see that our feelings are not as solid and fixed as they seem
- Break free from negative habits and past pain.
- Cultivate positive mental states for lasting peace and happiness and emotional freedom
Each session will focus on a specific painful emotion, offering practical methods to reduce its grip on our mind and experience a deep and lasting emotional freedom.
