Learn to Meditate in time for Christmas -12th December
WHY MEDITATE BEFORE CHRISTMAS?
We make plans to have a wonderful time at Christmas and to have a break from our daily routine but during the festive time we can feel even more stressed, on-edge and frustrated with circumstances and people around us. Or it could be that we are feeling uncertain about our Christmas plans which can lead to us feeling anxious. It doesn’t have to be this way.
Meditation is becoming increasingly recognized as an effective means to reduce stress and improve our quality of life, however it also has much deeper and far-reaching benefits that have been understood by Buddhist practitioners for thousands of years.
Meditation is a method of training the mind to focus and concentrate on a specific thought or attitude which causes your mind to become calm and positive. This makes you feel happy about yourself, influence others in a positive way and help you have the capacity to deal with demands or daily problems in a constructive way.
You will discover:
•the essentials of meditation
•how to settle the mind & relax
•meditation methods to make yourself happier
•ways to apply the benefits of meditation to your daily life
Anyone and everyone can benefit and feel better, you just have to want to do it!
If we train in meditation our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful and we shall experience purer and purer forms of happiness. Eventually we shall able to stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.
