Many of us have a strong wish to benefit others, yet, despite our best intentions, we can sometimes feel our actions have little effect on the world around us.

How is it possible in these uncertain times, to not only find innovative ways to transcend ‘compassion fatigue’ but also find tried and trusted methods that guarantee our ability to make a meaningful difference to everyone we encounter?

In this new six-part series of classes, we will be looking at the Buddhist practice of the six perfections.

The six perfections are six special methods to fully realize our human potential to benefit others with every thought and action.

This special intention has been called “the source of peace and happiness for all living beings.”  Through developing this extraordinary wish, our mind becomes expansive and peaceful, filled with love, and our daily problems begin to lessen.

 
In these classes Bob will explain how to brings these 6 practices into our lives so they become our way of life, a happier more fulfilling life.  We also gain a great ability to benefit others, leading them away from their suffering and towards experiences of real happiness and freedom.

. In-Person Classes General Information

  • You must wear a mask by law - unless exempt

If you are ill

Please protect others by not coming into the centre.

If you are under the weather for any reason, our online classes and/or courses may be ideal for your needs.

Only use the main front door and the toilet nearest to it. We are unable to offer our accessible toilet and baby changing at the moment.

There is a limit on how many people can be in the Meditation Room together, so you will need to book in advance. You will asked to provide contact details for test and trace purposes.

Social Distancing/ Keeping Everyone Safe

  • You must wear a mask in the building - Unless you are exempt
  • When you arrive, please wash your hands in accordance with Government guidelines, and dry them using the paper towels or use the hand sanitiser provided.
  • Please maintain a physical distance of 2 metres, from everyone else in the building.
  • The chairs have been set out in the Meditation Room so that everyone is 2m metre apart, and no-one is directly facing anyone else. Please don’t move the chairs
  • We play the Liberating Prayer during our classes. No-one may sing.

This class will be live-streamed.  When you have booked below you will be sent a link to access the class. (check Spam folder) If you can’t make the class or wish to see it again, you will have access to the recorded class for 48 hours once the live class has ended via a link that will be sent to you.

We recommend that you find a quiet, comfortable space to get the benefit out of the class. Most importantly, enjoy!
