Meditations for Transformation Doncaster
Dates: 26th March – 9th April
3-Week Kadampa Meditation Series
During this series we will explore three powerful and uplifting meditations from the Kind Heart Living Meditations series. These meditations will help us cultivate greater peace of mind, happiness, and more harmonious relationships by deepening our love for others.
Each class includes two guided meditations and a practical teaching, making it easy to drop in for a single session or attend the full series.
Week 1: Cherishing Others
Discover how to develop a special mental attitude that values and cherishes others as much as we cherish ourselves. This simple yet profound shift brings warmth and harmony into our relationships.
Week 2: Taking Away Suffering
Experience a beautiful and deeply moving meditation on compassion. This uplifting practice helps us develop a courageous heart, transforming the way we relate to others’ suffering.
Week 3: Giving Happiness
Engage in a practical meditation on love that fills the heart with joy. By learning to give happiness, we naturally experience more happiness ourselves.

Extract from the course book.
“When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situtions, we tend to regard the situation itself as our problem, but in reality whatever problems we experience come from the mind. If we were to respond to difficult situations with a positive mind they would not be problems for us; indeed, we may even come to regard them as challenges or opportunities for growth and development. Problems arise only if we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind. Therefore, if we want to be happy all the time and to be free from problems, we must develop and maintain a peaceful mind.”
