A Evening Talk with Kadam Bridget Heyes Jan 8th

£8.00

A Special evening talk and Meditation.

At this special talk, open to everyone, Kadam Bridget will explain how we can use the timeless wisdom of Buddha’s teachings to overcome limiting minds such as self-criticism and guilt. Often we can be our own harshest judge. Self critical thoughts and guilty minds often arise from having very high expectations of ourselves which are almost impossible to reach and as a result can lead to us beating ourselves up when we don’t live up to them.

These states of mind never help us to become a better or more effective person, in fact they prevent us from becoming the person we can be and want to become. At this evening event we can learn how to develop more realistic expectations of ourselves whilst still trying to improve and fulfil our full potential.

Taught by the National Spiritual Director of the UK, Kadam Bridget Heyes is known for her powerful teachings, compassionate heart, and deep understanding of Buddha’s wisdom advice. As a mother of two, she has a special insight into how to bring Buddhism alive to meet the demands of a busy modern family life.
