Summer time retreat

Summer time retreat at KMC Sheffield

Finding balance and joy

With Kelsang Lekchog

 Book now- online & In-person

Friday 27th- Sun 29th

Take time out of your routine and give yourself a real break- a mental break. Let yourself feel re-energized and open-hearted. We so often feel stuck in our heads and exiled from our hearts. During this retreat we will get the opportunity to reconnect to our greatest capacity, our innate  love for others.

On this summertime weekend retreat we will learn how to develop a beautiful mind called bodhicitta, which is in essence compassion. You will be guided through a series of 7 meditations –  a 7 step process that helps us to develop a balanced mind towards others, feel more connected to them and warm hearted. Finally we develop the wish to free everyone from their suffering by becoming someone who has that power and strength.

This retreat is based on meditations called the ‘Sevenfold cause and effect’ explained in Joyful Path of Good Fortune by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

There will be 3 sessions a day. Times TBC

Come to any or all the sessions. TBC

Why not make it a weekend break?

There is also the option to stay at the centre for this weekend retreat. This will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in retreat.
