The Buddhist Way of Life



Life throws many difficult things our way which cause us worry, anxiety , stress and unhappiness. We try to protect ourselves from the storms of life and relieve our painful feelings by taking refuge in others and many modern panaceas. However this relief is temporary.
By taking refuge in Buddha’s teachings, his blessings and those who are sincerely trying to put his teachings into practice , we find a more profound peace and ultimately we can be permanently released from all disturbed and unhappy states of mind.
The first teaching will explain why the Three Jewels – Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha are completely reliable, powerful sources of protection from suffering.
In the second session there will be an opportunity to take simple Refuge Vows for those who wish to enter into Buddhism.
