Become a Volunteer

  • Kadampa Meditation Centre Sheffield is a UK registered not-for-profit charity that is open to everyone. The aim of the centre is to help busy, modern people from all walks of life to find peace and real happiness by learning to integrate meditation and positive thinking into their daily lives. As each individual finds inner peace, they will bring peace and harmony into their community.

The centre is run entirely by volunteers and receives no external funding – income is generated solely through the centre’s own activities.

If you would like to share your skills or expertise while learning something new, then here are a few ideas.:

About Volunteering

At a Kadampa Centre you can’t help but marvel at how smoothly and efficiently it is run by dedicated teams of kind-hearted people. One of the incredible aspects of Geshe-la’s vision for flourishing modern Kadampa Buddhism is how everyone joins in to volunteer and support our centres.

Why volunteer?

Volunteering is an integral and extremely rewarding part of spiritual practice. You get the opportunity to engage in meaningful, joyful work together with others. Through giving your time freely and cherishing those who will attend classes and events at the centre, you can experience directly how this not only benefits others but makes you feel happy and fulfilled. All levels of volunteer experience are welcome! We have something for everyone.
